Matterhorn Project – MUH! and more is the title of the CD that contains the original first Matterhorn Project album plus 7 more tracks.
“MUH!” by Matterhorn Project (also known as the “moo song” in South Africa, Japan and other parts of the world and the French call it “meuh” or “meu”) is unique in pop history. There are cows singing and bells tingling, yodelling and alpine horns, all supported by an infectious eigthies disco-beat and a slightly spaced-out sense of humour. The track stormed the Swiss and international charts in 1985 and got known and loved for its comedy and tongue-in-cheek citing of Swiss clichés.
The original self-titled vinyl album “Matterhorn Project” got also released in 1985. The CD “MUH! and more” with the two top ten hits “MUH!” and “Yo-lollo-diuh” was released in 2005 to make the music available again. It contains all the tracks from the original album plus seven additional bonus tracks. Directly mastered from the 1985 original tapes of course, but in superb digital quality.
The extensive booklet shows charts positions, record sleeves, the original graphics of “Chilbi-Time”, a japanese sleeve – this is a must-have collector’s item! And especially children love the cow groove.

I wanted the CD for nostalgic purposes, but my 2 1/2 year old had a total blast dancing around to “the animals are singing, Mama!”
I received your wonder CDs in the mail. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes! But, as good as the songs are, the audio is even more superb!

Hello, I just wanted to tell you guys that I love your music! I am from America and I heard your MUH song while travelling through Switzerland (I was staying in a hostel in the Alps to do some hiking). Our hostel owner played it a couple times first thing in the morning while I was there — I actually heard MUH for the first time while I was taking a shower. When I asked her who it was, she laughed — apparently a LOT of people ask her about your music. Anyway, have a nice day!
Like other people I am thrilled to find Muh! after years of searching!

This trance remix of 94 is not on the CD!
